In short, the project is a dinner club, where you are offered a Danish contact family (a Danish employee from one of the participating companies + his/her family) that can give you a unique insight into the Danish culture outside university, and where you will also have the opportunity to share your own culture. The course has a duration of 8 months from October 2012 until May 2013. The programme, which you and your Danish families will attend, includes:

• The kick-off event on November 1st at Studenterhus Aarhus, where you are matched with your Danish Family
• 3 dinners from November 2012 to March 2013, where the Danish family invites you to their home
• One company visit to one of the partner companies, where the Danish families work.
• One visit to your “workplace” Aarhus University.
• The Grand Finale event in May 2013, which will conclude the official part of the program

The project provides a platform for the meeting between you as an international student and Danish families, interested in an international relation. It is a unique opportunity for you to get up close and personal with Danes, working in attractive companies and to get a network outside of your student network.

If you want to sign up, please send an email to the project manager, Ioana Olaru. You will then receive a short questionnaire and, based on your answers, you will be matched with a Danish family. As there is only a limited number of families, there will be a selection among all incoming applications to assure the best matches. You will receive information about your Danish family in advance and meet them at the kick off event in November. 

There is no participation fee. Deadline for registration is the 24^th of October 2012.
