When far more students applied to the DISCO program than expected, her mix of scientific training and earlier management experience made her a natural fit to help guide the growing team. Today, she leads the DISCO-2 mission — a tightly packed, machine-learning-enabled CubeSat aimed at studying Greenland’s glaciers and inspiring a new wave of student-driven space innovation. Under her leadership, the project has become a catalyst for hands-on learning, new startups, and a stronger pipeline of young talent entering the Danish space sector.
