By late 2012 CMC Ph.d. student Martin Søndergaard was awarded an industrial-postdoc scholarship from the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation - the NanoBAT project. Starting April 1st Martin Søndergaard will now spend two years working on developing improved materials for Li-ion batteries in the CMC laboratories. The endeavor draws upon the unique collection of synthesis and characterization facilities commanded by the Center, not least the knowledge base within in situ characterization and tailoring of nanomaterials.
