Morten Brix Ley currently on a 6 months' stay at Curtin University (Perth, Australia)
Visit to the Hydrogen Storage Research Group of Prof. Craig Buckley
Ph.D. student Morten Brix Ley is currently on a 6 month stay at Curtin University, where he is visiting Prof. Craig Buckley and his Hydrogen Storage Research Group.
Morten is working on production of aluminum nanoparticles and their effect on hydrogen desorption from lithium borohydride, LiBH4, which is a promising material for solid state hydrogen storage.
During his stay, Morten will acquire knowledge about the PCT method, which is used to study the thermodynamics of complex metal hydrides. These skills will afterwards come to use in the new high-pressure hydrogen laboratory being built in the CMC home labs.
