Transferable skills courses have been announced for all of 2013, so that PhD students have the chance to plan ahead. The course offer can be accessed here.

There is a new Science Teaching course concept, which is module-based and with the possibility of specializing in three different fields, i.e. teaching theoretical exercises or similar at university, teaching laboratory courses, or teaching in outreach activities for high school students.

PhD students should also be aware that, if they want to take the course Scientific Practice and haven’t yet participated in a GSST Introduction Day, they need to attend a 5-hour session “Short Introduction to Responsible Conduct of Science and Scientific Misconduct” first, to avoid missing out on important knowledge obtained at the Introduction Day.
