Staff Training Organised By Uppsala University

Sustainability Applied in International Learning and Teaching 17-24 May in Gdynia, Poland

Teachers and PhD Students are invited to take part in Staff Training Week onboard the tall ship Fryderyk Chopin, arranged by the Baltic University Programme (BUP) at Uppsala University.

University teachers with a strong background within the field of sustainable development will be prioritized. PhD students are also encouraged to apply and have a chance to develop their pedagogical skills and learn from the more experienced colleagues. Teachers from different countries, cultures, universities, and disciplines will contribute to knowledge exchange, share experiences, learn and teach, develop their competencies, work together, sail the ship, and have an adventure adventure. It is expected that the teachers will get a better understanding of the problems and possibilities for a sustainable development in the Baltic Sea region.

Teachers are expected to cover their own costs of travel to and from Gdynia, Poland.

Course fee as well as accommodation and food for the whole duration will be covered by Uppsala University and Gotland University.
