The 27th European Crystallographic Meeting, 2012 in Bergen, Norway
ECM27 including satellite meeting “Methods of high-pressure single-crystal X-ray diffraction”.
CMC-AU ph.d. students Solveig Røgild Madsen and Morten Schultz Nielsen, and CMC-Göttingen ph.d. student Reent Michel will be attending the 27th European Crystallographic Meeting (ECM27), August 4-11 2012 in Bergen (Norway). They are joined by CMC ass. prof. Martin Bremholm and CMC partners Mark Spackman and Dietmar Stalke.
Mark Spackman is invited as a keynote speaker and will be presenting the talk “Charge densities and crystal engineering”. The abstract can be found here.
Dietmar Stalke and Martin Bremholm are giving the invited talks “Low valent silicon” and “Discovery of novel post-perovskites by high pressure methods”, respectively. The abstracts can be found here: D. Stalke and M. Bremholm.
Two posters are to be presented by the ph.d. students:
- “The high pressure structure of Co3(dpa)4Cl2?CH2Cl2”, Solveig Røgild Madsen
- “Challenges in small molecule XRD – alkali metal organics from ammonia”, Reent Michel
ECM27 is officially opening August 6th, the first two days (4th-5th) a satellite meeting is held on “Methods of high-pressure single-crystal X-ray diffraction”. Information can be found here.
The meeting is hosted by the European Crystallographic Association (ECA) and next year’s ECM is to be held in Warwick (United Kingdom), August 25-29 2013.
