The Danish Battery Society (DBS) held a discussion seminar on "Synthesis and Characterization of Electrode Materials for Li- and Na-ion batteries" on september 19^th in Aarhus, hosted by CMC. DBS is a newly founded society, which aims to improve and promote cooperation between individuals, institutions and companies with battery technology in Denmark. The main instrument is organizing targeted meetings and events.

Throughout the day, CMC students and postdocs presented various research projects on battery materials in Aarhus. Finally, the participants were given a "tour" through the CMC laboratories.
