The Murmur / New Paper for Internationals in Denmark

The new monthly paper in English, The Murmur, will provide internationals in Denmark with a very needed channel for knowledge about politics, culture and business in Denmark

The Murmur is a free English-language monthly newspaper written for an international audience in Denmark. Founded by the former management team from The Copenhagen Post newspaper, The Murmur serves as a source of insightful, alternative journalism about Danish issues as well as international trends and developments that affect Denmark. Our original long-form articles and commentary serve as a window on the Danish society and provide insight into the country’s culture and role in an increasingly globalised world. Murmur readers are educated, curious and cosmopolitan and want to remain properly informed about Denmark and its place in the world.

"I picked up the Murmur at my language school last night and just wanted to let you know that I think you’ve done a great job on it. It’s very well written and looks good. I’m from the UK and have lived in Copenhagen for 8 months and have been struck by the huge lack of English language publications available – it can make you feel very cut off from what’s going on in the city around you!" Monika Canty, Communications Partner, A.P. Møller Mærsk

Pick up The Murmur at the International Centre, Høegh-Guldbergs Gade 4, 8000 Aarhus C.

The Murmur is also available at all libraries in Copenhagen, Gentofte and Lyngby as well as at universities, public institutions and selected business. It is also available as a digital download from murmur.dk
